ANCR symposium 2026
The symposium will be hosted at the Sånga Säby Hotel and Conference Center on Färingsö, with accommodations provided on site. The programme kicks off with workshops in the afternoon of September 9. The scientific programme is scheduled for September 10 and 11. The annual symposium dinner will be held on September 10 in the beautiful surroundings of Drottningholm Palace.

Workshops
Three parallel workshops will be held on the afternoon of September 9:
1. Coding and registration: Central guidelines and recommendations and effects on local
coding with a CNS focus
2. Enabling the use of cancer registry data
3. The future of cancer Screening in the Nordic countries
Scientific programme
The scientific sessions will feature keynote lectures and presentations covering a broad range of topics. Further details will be provided.

Games in Sånga’s own game arena ”Stallet” followed by dinner at Sånga.
Thursday, September 10
Conference dinner at Karamellan at Drottningholm Palace.
Location and venue
Sånga Säby Hotel and Conference Center is situated on the island of Färingsö in Ekerö Municipality, approximately 30 kilometers west of central Stockholm. Overlooking Lake Mälaren and surrounded by picturesque natural landscapes, Sånga provides a tranquil and restorative environment.
The venue is easily accessible by car as well as public transportation. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes by car from downtown Stockholm and about 1.5 hours by public transport.
From central Stockholm, public transportation to the venue involves taking the Green Line metro to Brommaplan and then transferring to a bus to the Mälaröarna islands. Bus route 317 stops directly outside the venue at the Sånga Säby stop.

Bus transfer will be arranged to the venue, departing from central Stockholm, and from the venue, arriving at central Stockholm and Arlanda. The bus transfer will be coordinated with the start and end of the conference. You may indicate your preferred transfer times in the registration form.
Accommodation
A block of rooms has been pre-reserved for conference delegates at the Sånga Säby Hotel. The rate applies when booking accommodation through the conference registration form. Accommodation fees will be invoiced together with the conference registration fee.
